Great AT Video Series -- AT in Action |

Pacercenter has created a new assistive technology awareness series, AT in Action. In the first video, below, Brody explains how he uses Co:Writer and the Livescribe pen--two technologies we use here in Mamaroneck! In the second, Elle and her mom explain how Elle uses an augmentative communication device (like many kids in our district), the team approach, trial process, and training that went into making it successful.

Webinars!! AT Tuesdays Replace Taco Tuesdays!

Okay, go ahead and keep your Taco Tuesdays, but take advantage of these new webinars!
Every other Tuesday, we'll host a short (15-minute) webinar on a particular topic relating to assistive technology in Mamaroneck. You can sign on from your classroom computer and listen quietly. Or go ahead and ask questions. Either way you'll be out the door in 15 minutes, on your way to tortillas and salsa verde. And if you miss one of the webinars, you can watch them later from the AT website.
Each webinar will be held twice, from 2:45-3:00 and again from 3:15-3:30.
