Response to Intervention (RTI) is an initiative designed to ensure standards-based curriculum, high-quality instruction and progress monitoring for all students. RTI aims to close achievement gaps by preventing minor learning challenges from becoming insurmountable gaps. RTI is a multi-tiered, problem-solving approach that identifies students at risk in academic and behavioral areas early and provides them with systematically applied, research-based instructional strategies at increasing levels of intensity and frequency. More information about the district's RTI plan is available here.
